Why Just Cuts Rose City is giving back to the community with free haircuts

A new Warwick business has a long-term plan to give back to people in need, after the town’s support following their opening. Here’s how you can get involved.

One Warwick business is embarking on a new venture to make a difference and give back to a supportive community in need.

Isa Hagstrom and the team at Just Cuts Rose City are beginning a new long-term venture to give back to the community by treating members of the community in need to a full style haircut by an experienced stylist, as well as products and more.

The initiative comes following the warm reception the business received since opening last year.

Although he may be one of Warwick’s newest franchisees, Mr Hagstrom is extremely familiar with the Rose City and what it means to give back to the community.

“We’re looking to give back to ten members of the community initially to let them know they’re cared for and help them look and feel better,” Mr Hagstrom said.

“Both my partner and I were born here – we still call Warwick home – and we want to give back in a meaningful way.”

Mr Hagstrom said the move comes as a no-brainer because everyone knows someone doing it tough and when you’re in a position to be able to give back and help out, it’s the decent thing to do.

“I have the tools and amazing stylists here, I can’t wait to give back and we’re looking to do more things to give back in the future,” he said.

The business owner is also keen on helping the next generation of Rose City residents by offering school-based apprenticeships and looking into helping disadvantaged kids alongside the Rotary Club.
