PIZZA Hut Warwick has reopened under a new owner following an abrupt closure earlier this year.
New owner Steven Bateman has relocated from Springwood to take on the challenge of the store.
Mr Bateman said he was excited about the chance to get involved in the community and support local groups and organisations.
The new Maryvale resident has re-hired previous staff and said his first act of community goodwill would be delivering 100 pizzas to the Warwick Hospital in honour of International Nurses Day.
"Family and community are the most important things to me. I can't wait to share my pizzas with the great families in town," he said.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for my family and myself.
"I have worked in and around Pizza Hut stores for over 10 years and am looking forward to bringing that experience with me."
State manager Myran Valks said efforts had been made to ensure customers left out of pocket by the last closure were reimbursed. He said anyone who had not, should contact the store.
There are no current plans at this stage to reopen the Stanthorpe franchise after the landlord chose not to renew the store's lease.
