Victorian woman tests positive for COVID-19 travelled to Goondiwindi on her way to the Sunshine Coast
A Victorian woman who was travelling with her family stopped in Goondiwindi before continuing on to the Sunshine Coast.

A 44-year-old woman from Victoria has tested positive for COVID-19, the state’s health Minister Yvette D’Ath has confirmed.
The woman travelled through New South Wales, crossing the border at Goondiwindi, arriving in Queensland on 5 June.
“They are residing at Caloundra with family members and her husband,” Ms D’Ath said.
“The woman was tested yesterday and it was confirmed today it is a positive case.”
She is currently being interviewed by Queensland Health to determine a full list of exposure sites.
Ms D’Ath said people who had visited the sites should come forward for COVID testing.
The following have been identified by Queensland Health as exposure sites:
McDonald’s Goondiwindi: 5 June, 7.35am – 7.50am.
Caltex Super Petrol Station Toowoomba: 5 June, 11am – 11.15am.
