Two people have been injured, one man rescued from the wreckage, after a head-on crash on a highway north of Warwick.

Two people have been injured, with one needing to be rescued from the wreckage, in an early morning car crash on a highway south of Toowoomba.
Emergency services were called out to the Cunningham Hwy near Spicer’s Gap Rd, about 25km north of Warwick, after a car and a 4WD crashed head on, at 5am on Sunday.
A man in 40s was trapped in his car for almost an hour, as fire crews worked to rescue him from the car.
He was treated for leg injuries by paramedics and critical care doctors, before being airlifted to the PA Hospital by rescue helicopter in a stable condition, a LifeFlight spokesman said.
The other person was taken to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition, a QAS spokeswoman said.
The Cunningham Hwy was closed for six hours as the Forensic Crash Unit investigated the cause of the traffic crash, police said.
Police opened the highway at 11.30am, and investigations are ongoing.
