Warwick police are calling for information after a number of items were reported stolen from a rural property in the Southern Downs.

It is understood a number of outbuildings on a rural property on Rodgers Creek Rd were broken into and a number of items including jewellery, tools and sporting gear were taken from the property.

Police believe entry was gained through the property’s main dwelling, and are encouraging residents in the area to keep an eye out and report any suspicious vehicles or activity in the area between February 11-12, including suspicious drone activity.

Officer-in-charge Jamie Deacon said police are also encouraging rural landholders to remain vigilant in securing their property, including installing CCTV camera at any outbuildings or main entrance points.

Police also received a report of an attempted break and enter at an address on Tea Tree Rise, where the occupants returned home to find damage to their door locks.

It’s understood the occupants had been away from the property between January 1-15.
