Southern Downs police are continuing with inquiries into what can only be described as strange and unusual incident.
It’s understood police were alerted to a report of a damaged vehicle rear windscreen, alleged to have been struck by an object while travelling towards the Cunningham Hwy just after 9am on Sunday.
Police are working to determine whether the damage was deliberate and involved another vehicle or came from the land, and have begun making inquiries with nearby landholders.
It’s believed the vehicle was travelling along Leyburn Cunningham Rd at the time of the incident.
