Rebecca Lynn Leeson charged with $100k fraud of Warwick livestock business McDougall & Sons

The former office manager of a well-known southern Queensland livestock auction house has been charged with allegedly defrauding the business of at least $100,000.

Rebecca Lynn Leeson has been charged with one count of fraud by employee.

Ms Leeson is the former office manager of Warwick business McDougall & Sons, which is understood to be the business allegedly involved in the fraud.

Her lawyer Clare Hine appeared on her behalf when the matter was mentioned in Warwick Magistrates Court on Monday.

Ms Hine asked the court for an adjournment to allow for a brief of evidence to proceed provided.

Magistrate Janice Crawford adjourned the matter to December 17 for mention.

It’s understood Ms Leeson is on bail and won’t be required to appear.
