A mother-of-seven has been brought before Warwick District Court on a string of charges related to an alleged shooting at Leslie Dam.
Monique Sarah Deighton faces one charge each of conduct with a weapon to cause death or injury, unlawfully wounding another, and possessing shortened firearms.
Police claim the Warwick woman was at a Saddledam Road address in November last year when a conversation “developed into a physical altercation” with a 35-year-old man.
It is alleged the 38-year-old was then involved in obtaining a firearm with which the victim was shot in the leg.
Ms Deighton has been in custody since her arrest in November.
She was not required to appear in court when her matters were mentioned this week.
Her case was adjourned to the first sittings of Warwick District Court in 2022.
