Emergency crews responded to multiple crashes and fires across the Darling Downs on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to a suburban vegetation fire in South Toowoomba on Saturday afternoon.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the fire was originally reported to be about 20m by 30m, at Water St and Stephen St.

The QFES spokesman said fire crews arrived on scene just before 4pm, and by 4.20 the fire had been extinguished.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said no structures had been damaged, though some personal property had been.

The QPS spokeswoman said a crime scene was declared.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said one person was assessed for minor burns, but was not taken to hospital.

Earlier on Saturday, three fire crews battled a blaze in the roof of a home in the Southern Downs.

Fire crews were called to the Kyoomba property at 2.45pm on June 15, with three crews were on scene just before 3pm.

The spokesman said the fire was in the roof of the two-story house, and firefighters had to access the cavity of the roof in order to extinguish it.

The fire was extinguished by 3.20pm.

The QFES spokesman said a fire investigator would not be looking into the cause of the fire.

A QPS spokeswoman said the fire was considered non-suspicious.

Down the range, a man in his 60s was taken to Toowoomba Hospital after falling from a mountain bike in Grandchester on Saturday afternoon.

A QAS spokesman said the man suffered shoulder injuries, and was flown to Toowoomba hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier in the day, a man in his 30s was seriously injured after a nasty motorcycle crash on a property in the Southern Downs.

Paramedics were called to the property off the Cunningham Highway in Tregony at 9.27am, after a man fell off a motorcycle.

A QAS spokesman said the man in his 30s sustained serious leg and back injuries after the fall.

The patient was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier Saturday, emergency services responded to a single vehicle rollover on the Gore Highway at Southbrook.

A QPS spokeswoman said police were called to the single-vehicle rollover at Southbrook, close to Linthorpe Valley Rd at 7.15am.

A QAS spokesman said paramedics assessed a man on scene with minor cuts and abrasions, but he did not require transport to hospital.
