668 offences have been committed in the Rose City in 2021

So far this year, 668 offences have been reported around the Rose City, with Friday the day you are most likely to be targeted by criminals. Full details here:

From drug offences to arson, more than 660 offences have been committed in Warwick since the start of the year.

Data from Queensland Police Services online crime map and online statistics can reveal the crime trends in the region.

Most common offences in Warwick:

Traffic and related offences: 147.

Drug offences: 126.

Other theft (excluding unlawful entry): 117.

Peak times for crime:

Friday 2pm – 10pm: 65 offences.

Wednesday 6am – 2pm: 59 offences

Saturday 2pm – 10pm: 44 offences.

Saturday 6am – 2pm: 40 offences.

Sunday 2pm – 10pm: 39 offences.

The top spot was near the corner of Wood Street at Oleary Street where a total of nine traffic offences were recorded, plus four drug offences and one robbery.

Pratten Street, near Victoria Park, was a hotspot with 10 offences recorded in the past six months including six drug offences, three goods orders offences and one weapons act offence.

Eleven charges were recorded in Alice Street near Queens Park and included three goods order offences, two drug crimes, two related to property damage, one to assault, one weapons offence and one other theft (excluding unlawful entry) offence.

A total of 107 offences were recorded in January, which grew to 123 in February.

In March this year, the Warwick area saw a total of 129 offences, however, this dropped to 96 offences in April.

Warwick recorded 112 offences in May with 45 offences recorded in June so far.
