Two separate car crashes leave one dead, another injured
A young man has died and a woman was injured after two separate crashes on Saturday.

A road fatality and a car rollover have made for a tragic Saturday on the Southern Downs’ roads this weekend.
A 25-year-old man tragically died after his car hit a tree on a rural road in Kyoomba, near Stanthorpe, on Saturday morning.
Police and paramedics were called to Sugarloaf Rd, about 10km east of Stanthorpe, at 6am on Saturday after reports a white ute had hit a tree.
The driver, a 25-year-old Sugarloaf man, was declared dead at the scene, police said.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Later that day, a woman was injured after a car rolled over near Leslie Dam, 12km west of Warwick, about 11.30am.
One fire crew attended, and there were no entrapments, a QFD spokesman said.
The road was blocked as emergency crews made the area safe, he said.
A female in her 30s was taken to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition.
Two people were taken to hospital after reported snake bites on Saturday.
One person was taken to Toowoomba Hospital from Helidon Spa, about 5km east of Toowoomba, about noon.
One the other side of the range, in Tara, another person was taken to Tara Hospital, at 3.15pm.
