The New England Highway is currently shut in both directions as firefighter work to contain multiple small blazes.
Three crews responded to “multiple small fires” approximately sized 10m² at 3.50pm this afternoon.
A QFES spokesman confirmed the fires were vegetation fires, located off the New England Highway and Batterham Rd, north of Allora.
Local police have been called to block off the road as emergency crews finish combating the fire.
