Man injured at Morgan Park Raceway after losing control of motorcycle

A Surfers Paradise man flown to hospital in a serious condition after losing control of his motorcycle at an event at Morgan Park Raceway.

The incident is alleged to have occurred at around 1pm on Saturday, with onlookers reporting the rider lost control on a corner and subsequently collided with the pavement.

Forensic crash investigators attended the scene, and police have advised the latest medical report has confirmed the rider did not sustain any major injuries and was due to be released from hospital.
