As seasons pass the halfway point, Warwick’s league, union, AFL and football players are all hoping to come away with wins, with some teams expected to climb up competition ladder.

WARWICK WATER RATS
In round 10 of the Nutrien Ag Solutions B Grade Senior Men's division, the Warwick Water Rats are set up to travel south to take on the Goondiwindi Emus this weekend.
The team, which is currently sitting third behind the St George Frillnecks, is hoping to bounce back after a 15-point loss last week.
The fourth-placed Emus are just behind the Rats after Goondiwindi crushed the Toowoomba Bears in an away game last week.
The game kicks off at Riddles Oval Complex in Goondiwindi at 1.30pm Saturday 12 June.
WARWICK COWBOYS
With only two losses from their six games, the Warwick Cowboys will have the advantage of a hometown crowd when they take on the Highland and Districts Eagles this weekend.
The Eagles have also won six of their eight games and are sitting in second places with the third-seed Cowboys chasing their tails.
The Cowboys thrashed the sixth placed Grafton Hawks lasts weekend by a massive 18 points.
Kick off is at 4.30pm on Sunday, June 12, at Father Ranger Oval (field one), Warwick.
WARWICK REDBACKS
In round eight of the Allied Cup senior men’s competition, the Rebacks will take on the South Toowoomba Bombers.
After going down last week against the Goondiwindi Eagles by 56 points, there is hope the team can rally to score a win against the Bombers.
Despite a lacklustre start to the Redbacks’ season they still have a chance to turn their two-win season around.
The Redbacks match on Saturday, June 12, at WCU Oval starts at 2.30pm.
WARWICK WOLVES
In the men’s Premier League division, the Wolves will take on Highfields FC at Highfields Oldham Oval this weekend.
The Wolves drew when they took on the Gatton Redbacks at their home game last fortnight.
Currently sixth on the ladder, the Wolves have secured two wins from their 11 games with four losses and have five drawers under their belts.
