2021 marked the return of Warwick’s social and events calendar to its post-Covid best, with beloved annual favourites joined by new festivals to breathe new life into the region.
From the Warwick Cup to Jumpers and Jazz in July or the week-long Warwick Rodeo, these were the events that drew enormous crowds to the Rose City as captured by the Daily News.

Great Australian Bites
One of Warwick’s biggest Australia Day celebrations was back and larger than ever in 2021 with Great Australian Bites.
Dozens of food and drink vendors lined Palmerin St for the epic street party, with live entertainment from Warwick favourites Sleeping Dogs.

Warwick BBQ and Beer Roadshow
2021 was the first time the BBQ and Beer Roadshow made its way to Warwick, drawing massive numbers of foodies from across southeast Queensland to the Rose City.
The three-day event at the Warwick Showgrounds was spearheaded by homegrown talents Jim and Katie Osborn at Bluebird Kitchen and Smokehouse.

Warwick Show
The beloved Warwick Show made an epic comeback this year after its devastating cancellation under Covid in 2020.
From showcasing the region’s agricultural excellence to rides and carnival fun for the whole family, hundreds hit the Warwick Showgrounds for a huge three days of action.

Jumpers and Jazz in July
The widely loved winter festival drew thousands upon thousands of visitors to Warwick for the huge 10-day affair, making its huge comeback after being cancelled in 2020.
From the town’s most talented crafters dressing trees on Palmerin St to beautiful art exhibitions and toe-tapping live performances, Jumpers and Jazz was one of Warwick’s biggest events of the year.

Warwick Cup
The Warwick Turf Club’s biggest event of the year once again drew enormous crowds to Allman Park, with hundreds stepping out in style at the massive race day.

Warwick Rodeo and Gold Cup Campdraft
Another annual favourite making a huge return in 2021, the Warwick Rodeo and Gold Cup Campdraft drew thousands from across the state to the Rose City.
With prestigious campdraft competitions, fast-paced rodeo action, and plenty of beloved side events such as the Street Parade or Potters Markets, the 2021 event was one for the books.

Live at the Factory
Live at the Factory was another new event to hit the Warwick calendar in 2021, bringing some of the town’s best local talents to the stage for a massive night of music and revelry.
Headline act Sleeping Dogs were supported by fellow Warwick talents The 78 Sound and Eunoia, with the trio of acts drawing massive crowds to The Factory Precinct.
