THIS WEEKEND is set to be a big one with many local hotels reporting they are fully booked out for the Jumpers and Jazz in July festival.
Coachman's Inn manager Stuart Davis said business was good.
"We were busy over last weekend and moderate during the week," he said.
"We are completely booked out on Saturday night.
"The festival is good for the town."
Mr Davis said people had come from far and wide.
"We have had a lot of people travelling," he said.
"Some are not even aware that the festival is on and are then quite chuffed when they go for a walk into town."
Country Rose Owner Fran Thompson said she thought the event could be better promoted.
"I know the event has been well advertised," she said.
"But I think they need to post the program out to other areas."
Mrs Thompson said it would be a good idea because the out-of-towners would know exactly when each of the events was on.
Mrs Thompson also said business was good.
"We have been steady during the week and busy on the weekends," she said. "This weekend is fully booked."
Horse and Jockey manager Jo Lawrence said they had not been overly busy yet.
"We are hoping it will pick up over the weekend," she said. "The accommodation is booked out for this weekend, which is good.
"We still have a couple of tables left on Friday night but Saturday is fully booked out."
The Horse and Jockey restaurant is hosting several events this weekend.
