Police to prepare report for coroner after man found unresponsive in pool in Warwick

Emergency services will prepare a report for the coroner after a man was found dead in a backyard pool in Warwick. Here’s what we know.

Emergency services made a heartbreaking discovery when they arrived at a private property in Queensland’s southwest.

It’s understood police and paramedics were responding to reports of a drowning in a backyard pool in Warwick on November 4.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said emergency services had located a person who had suffered life-threatening injuries.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said upon arrival emergency services located a man in his 60s deceased.

The QPS spokeswoman said police are treating the incident as non-suspicious and will prepare a report for the coroner.

Investigations are ongoing.
