A 4WD towing a caravan has flipped in dramatic fashion, injuring one and closing a lane of a major highway in the state’s south.
Emergency services were called to the New England Highway Near Mitchells Road at Dalveen, north of Stanthorpe, about 11am on Tuesday.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said one crew attended the crash and found a 4WD on its side, and the caravan it was towing totalled on its roof.
Nobody was reported trapped, with a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirming one was taken to Stanthorpe Hospital in a stable condition with a shoulder injury.
The northbound lane of the New England Highway was blocked as a result of the crash, and it was unclear how the vehicle left the road.
