MANY of Warwick's most prominent businesspeople and artists crowded beside the town hall to celebrate the opening of the Legend's Laneway.

The audiovisual project was a huge collaborative effort between photographer Storm Lahiff, Chamber of Commerce President Julia Keogh, audio producer Hamish Sewell and Shane Harmond of We R Signs.

Mr Sewell said Warwick had been an interesting place to work and he enjoyed interviewing its foundational community members.

As a radio producer from the Sunshine Coast, Mr Sewell's speciality is in geo-locative story-telling, painting a picture through audio clips and background noise.

He said the sights and sounds of Warwick were a unique experience for him.

"I went to the Pig and Calf Sale to capture some background sound and it was quite a remarkable little market with a lot going on," he said.

He hopes the laneway will inspire more understanding and celebration of Warwick's history.

Following the opening, the creatives met at the Criterion Hotel for an Arts Networking Event designed to encourage further collaboration in Warwick.

Businessman Henry Osiecki said he feels a change coming through the town.

"With the recent opening of the horse sculpture and now this there has been a change in the town's attitude toward creative endeavours," he said.

"I have lived here for 25 years and never seen it like this."

Artist Juanita Faint shared similar sentiments.

"This year I have seen a lot of individual artists doing their own things and sharing their work," she said.

"There's been a change in thinking, people know that sharing means we can help each other."
