When police executed a search warrant on a Nobby property, they had no idea they would find such a drug habit hidden in plain sight throughout the home.
Cheryl Ann Dowler, 38, was found in possession of methamphetamine, cannabis and a pipe when police raided her home at Nobby on September 15.
Police prosecutor Sgt Andrew Grafton said during the search, methamphetamine was found hidden in a jacket pocket, and a gatorade bottle was under the bed smelling of cannabis.
A total of 3.6g of cannabis was discovered during the search.
Dowler faced Warwick Magistrate Court on Monday where she pleaded to two counts of drug possession and two counts of drug utensil possession.
Defence lawyer Clare Hine said the single mother of three children was experiencing a “moment of madness” and was “embarrassed” to be in court.
The magistrate noted Dowler’s previous convictions, including when she received three years imprisonment for drug trafficking in 2009.
“You should be well aware of the consequences of your actions,” the magistrate Virginia Sturgess said.
Dowler received a $500 fine with convictions recorded.
