The competition to crown the Southern Downs and Granite Belt’s best hairdresser for 2023 was a tough one, with more than 20 talented salons nominated.

After tallying up the votes, we can reveal the title of Southern Downs and Granite Belt’s best hairdresser has been awarded to Warwick salon Angie’s Glamour on Glennie.

Salon owner and hairdresser extraordinaire Angie Ollerton was overwhelmed with joy by the community’s support of her home-based business.

“It’s so lovely to hear the community values my services so highly,” she said.

Specialising in ladies' precision haircuts, foiling and blondes' services, it was always a dream of Angie’s to own her own salon.

With 15 years' experience in the industry, Angie opened her home-based studio in 2020.

“I really enjoy being able to create a nice and relaxing space for my clients to receive their service,” she said.
