Two Logan schools have been evacuated after alleged bomb threats were made on Thursday afternoon.

Two schools in Logan have been evacuated on Thursday afternoon after bomb threats was allegedly made.
A police spokeswoman confirmed police were in attendance at both the Springwood State High School and Browns Plains State High School about 2pm.
The Courier-Mail has been told both incidents were bomb threats, with students and staff evacuated to school ovals within minutes.
Springwood State High School issued a statement online at 3.16pm, after staff received the all-clear to re-enter the school grounds, with students sent home for the day.
“As you may be aware the school enacted emergency procedures this afternoon and evacuated due to a threat received” the statement read.
“The Queensland Police Service was onsite assessing the situation and we received clearance to move back into the grounds and students have now departed for home,
“The safety of your students and our staff is our highest priority”.
