Two in hospital, one trapped after Heathwood crash

As a person remains trapped in a vehicle following a crash in Brisbane’s south-west, two other people, including a child, have been rushed to hospital.

A man and a child have been rushed to hospital while another person remains trapped in a vehicle following a crash into a tree in Brisbane’s south-west this morning.

Emergency crews including arrived on scene at Johnston Rd, Heathwood, just after 11.30am.

Fire crews are working to free a trapped person.

One man in his 20s has already been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition after sustaining arm and leg injuries.

It's also been reported one patient has been transported to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
