Two in hospital after head-on smash at Greenbank

A crash south of Brisbane left two people in hospital with injuries on Tuesday afternoon after a small car and light truck collided.

A HEAD-ON crash south of Brisbane has seen two people taken to hospital earlier this evening.

Police are still on scene responding to the crash which occurred about 5.30pm in Greenbank on Middle Rd.

Emergency services received reports of a head-on crash between a light truck and small car that saw both drivers transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Queensland Ambulance Services said two males were involved in the crash, one in a serious condition with leg injuries and another in a stable condition.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services confirmed the man in the small car was initially trapped.

One of men is believed to be in his 50s, however it is yet to be confirmed what vehicle he was driving.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
