Drivers have faced significant delays after a truck ran off the Warrego Highway near Ipswich.

Traffic heading in both directions was expected to be affected by the incident at Blacksoil, which happened just before 3pm Monday, as emergency services worked to clear the blockage.

Motorists were advised to seek an alternate route.

The truck was removed by 3.45pm, with traffic flow improving slightly before worsening again.

Westbound traffic was backed up to near North Tivoli at 4.20pm, with delays also seen on nearby Fernvale Rd westbound.

Queensland Ambulance Services said no injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
