Tributes for Leroy James Sullivan after fatal crash in Brisbane’s south

TRIBUTES have poured in for 19-year-old Leroy James Sullivan, who died in a crash south of Brisbane on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ritchie Rd and Van Dieren Rd in Pallara about 10.07pm on Friday.
Mr Sullivan, who was the back seat passenger, died at the scene.
A woman, 18, and a 17-year-old boy were seriously injured in the crash and taken to hospital.
Big sister, Mariah Sullivan said Leroy belonged to a family of eight, being the third oldest, leaving behind four sisters and a brother.
“He played rugby league and touch footy, loved NBA, basketball and watching NRL, but all sports really,” she said.
“He was a shy, respectful and loved his culture (Aboriginal) and loved his nieces and nephew.”
Ms Sullivan changed her Facebook profile picture as a tribute, to a photo of Leroy, captioned, “I miss you sm (so much) I just want you to come back.”
Support flowed in on the comments of the post.
“My heart goes out to you & your family this is so unbelievably sad,” one wrote.
“My condolences to you, your mum and dad. I can only imagine your pain bub, love and hugs to all the family,” said another.
His aunty DavithaLara Sullivan wrote that words could not explain her feelings.
“You may not have been here for a long time but God needed his soldiers back and God takes nothing but the best boys,” she wrote.
Friends remembered Leroy as a “great kid,” who always lit up the room.
“He respected everyone and always put a smile on everyone’s face by saying something cheeky,” said Bridgett Leigh
His friend, Zackery Woodward, posted to Facebook, asking to get together to commemorate his life
“R.I.P brother, you’re still forever in our hearts,” he wrote.
“Can’t believe it, you’ve shattered me.”
