Trains suspended after bridge strike at Indooroopilly

Trains have resumed on two major Brisbane lines after a truck struck a bridge, but commuters have been warned of residual delays up to 20 minutes.

TRAINS have resumed on the Ipswich and Springfield lines after a truck hit a bridge at Indooroopilly, but TransLink has warned of residual delays of 20 minutes.

Services were suspended in both directions between Roma St and Corinda stations after the incident on Allwood St about 1.30pm, but TransLink tweeted about 2.15pm the situation had been resolved.

Initial delays were estimated at 90 minutes and buses were deployed to convey stranded passengers between stations.

Police remained on the scene as investigations continued.
