Toddler seriously hurt in quad crash in Somerset region

A toddler has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after a quad bike crash northwest of Brisbane.

A toddler has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after a quad bike crash on a private property in the Somerset region.

The little boy was riding with his father when they had to swerve to avoid a snake, the father then lost control of the vehicle before it rolled at around 11am at Sheep Station Creek.

The quad bike reportedly rolled over the boy’s abdomen during the crash.

Paramedics rushed to the scene and treated the boy for abdominal injuries before he was flown to the Queensland Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
