Toddler falls into fire at The Falls, southeast of Warwick

A young boy was flown to hospital from a Southern Downs farm on Sunday after he fell into an open fire.

A toddler was yesterday flown to hospital after falling into a fire in the Southern Downs region.

The young boy, who the Queensland Ambulance Service listed as of toddler age, sustained burns to his arms and legs after he fell into a fire at a rural home at The Falls, southeast of Warwick.

Paramedics were called to the home just before 6pm yesterday before they transported the youngster in a stable condition via ambulance to the Warwick Hospital.

He was later flown to the Queensland Children’s Hospital to undergo further treatment.
