Two teens have been charged over an alleged armed robbery on Brisbane’s southside during which police allege a man was stabbed multiple times.

The alleged incident occurred in a home on Mulgowie Street, Sunnybank, where it is alleged a 19-year-old man and 17-year-old girl had arranged to meet the 37-year-old Sunnybank man to purchase two phones about 10.30pm on Sunday night.

The pair allegedly attacked the man when he chased them to a nearby park after they failed to pay for the phones.

Paramedics transported the man to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with back, leg and shoulder injuries.

The police dog squad was used to locate the pair that had fled into nearby bushland. Police charged them both with armed robbery with violence in company and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

Both individuals were denied bail, with the 19-year old to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on Monday and the 17-year old in the Richlands Children’s Court with date still to be set.
