An 18-year-old has died at the scene of a crash after the car he was driving left the road and struck a tree in Brisbane’s south overnight.

An 18-year-old has died after the car he was driving left the road and struck a tree in Brisbane’s south overnight.
The teen was driving in a silver 1993 Ford Falcon along Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road in Chandler about 11.50pm on Sunday when the incident occurred.
Police say the 18-year-old, from Cleveland, sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and is appealing to anyone with information or relevant vision to come forward.
