New police allegations following crash that left a teenager dead and another one injured
A teenager has died, another is seriously injured and a man has been charged with manslaughter after a crash south of Brisbane.

Police will allege a man who hit two teenagers on a motorcycle south of Brisbane Saturday was trying to recover his dirt bike which had been taken when the tragedy unfolded.
A 17-year-old rider died from his injuries and another teenage rider was injured.
A 21-year-old Thornlands man was charged with manslaughter following the crash in Logan, south of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Bourke St at Waterford West in Logan at 9.25pm Saturday.
Queensland Police Service officers allege a black Toyota HiLux utility was being driven dangerously when it hit a dirt bike being ridden by two teenagers.
The younger teenager died at the scene.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the rider’s 19-year-old passenger sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains.
The driver of the ute allegedly fled the scene in the vehicle, before the police helicopter, Polair, tracked the ute to Loganholme where the Thornlands man was taken into custody.
The Courier-Mail understands the Thornlands man not know either of the boys who were on the motorbike.
He has been charged with manslaughter, grievous bodily harm and fail to remain at scene.
He was denied police bail and scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police are urging witnesses, especially those with dashcam or CCTV from the area, including Loganholme in the vicinity of Cairns St, to come forward.
