A Sunshine Coast man has taken his love for dogs all the way to the small screen.
John Borg started training canines eight years ago as a hobby that has since turned into a booming business.
The animal lover runs Sheep Herding for City Dogs, a program for hounds and their owners helping city slickers manage working breed dogs.
"I see over 200 dogs a week and each month is bigger than the last," Mr Borg said.
"When the border was open I had regular clients from as far south as Kempsey and north to Mackay.
"I have clients that come once a year from Victoria, I've had a guy fly from Perth."
He said dogs didn't have any rural skills with some having not seen sheep before.
"I show people how to communicate with their dogs," he said.
"Working breeds don't have to be taught to do this, they know how to do this instinctively.
"Five minutes in here, because they're using their brain, that super fit dog is fully exhausted."

The Peachester local has captured the attention of film crews, recently filming an episode of Channel 9's My Way, set to air next year.
He's also filmed a pilot for his very own show.
"I'll just keep doing my own thing. I love what I do," Mr Borg said.
"I don't go looking for this stuff.
"I'm here just doing this and if they decide to do it well that's good too."
