A woman was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after the car she was travelling in rolled on a busy Coast road.

Paramedics were called to the crash at Nambour Connection and Erbacher roads at 5.45pm on Saturday.

It was a single vehicle incident, with the 32-year-old's Toyota Camry sedan rolling.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the woman had suffered head injuries, with a critical care paramedic on scene.

She was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

A Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said the woman was in a serious but stable condition as of Sunday morning.

The incident happened after several crashes across Friday night and Saturday morning.

Police also attended the scene of a crane crash late on Friday afternoon in which an 80-tonne vehicle toppled on top of three homes at Nirimba.

No one was injured in the incident.
