Woman, child injured as two crashes hit Bruce Hwy

Paramedics are treating a woman and a child who were injured in a crash on the Bruce Highway south of the Sunshine Coast.

PARAMEDICS are treating a woman and a child who were injured in a crash on the Bruce Highway south of the Sunshine Coast.

Emergency services were initially called to a crash involving up to four vehicles in the southbound lanes at Bells Creek shortly after 1.30pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no one was injured in that incident but the crew then came across a second crash about 1km further south about 2.10pm.

They are still at the scene.
