"It's pretty exciting, Ray White Mooloolaba's James Goldsworthy said. "There are a lot of people around at the moment.''

The marketing campaign has had more than 40 groups through so far for the four-bedroom house with 21m of water frontage.

"We have had anyone and everyone,'' James said, "... Brisbane buyers, locals, people upgrading.

"Lots of local buyers are looking to get onto the water, especially those who live in the direct area.

James will see what the property is worth at midday on Saturday.

Plenty of beach appeal

AMANDA Wallace of Coolum Beach Realty has an intriguing property set for auction on Saturday at 2pm.

The five-bedroom house at 87 Coolum Tce, Coolum Beach, is on 506sqm and comes with medium density zoning.

One street back from the beach, it has views at the moment but can go to 12m height under the zoning, Amanda said, so that will open up the views further.

"It is self-assessable for a duplex site. The existing home has good bones so any buyers can continue renting or it can be renovated.

"It is 300m to the beach and with a long-standing home in front the views are preserved in the medium term.''

Amanda said interest was local as well as southern, and from developers as well as builders.

"All except one of those that have looked through already have expressed interest in attending the auction. And we have started getting second inspections.''

Good views, position

NATASHA Hackenberg of Ray White Bli Bli has a property that is flying under the radar.

The bedroom-house with pool and views at 44 Willis Rd, Bli Bli, goes to the market at 3.30pm Saturday.

The interest has all been local so far and the attraction is the view, as well as the great central location.

"It is a good renovation,'' Natasha said, "but the potential to add more value for capital gain is great.

"It's looking like someone might get in under everyone's guard on this one.''
