West Caloundra gas bottle explosion leaves man with burns, hospitalised
Paramedics were called to a West Caloundra home after a gas bottle exploded, leaving one man covered in burns.

A man is in hospital after a gas bottle ignited at a Caloundra West house on Saturday night.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the home shortly before 8pm.
The man sustained burns to his hands, face and airway after the gas bottle exploded.
He was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The spokeswoman said paramedics were also called to Currimundi at 6.44am on Sunday after a car and a bicycle crash on Lakeside Crescent and Creekside Boulevard.
A man, aged in his 60s, was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with a shoulder injury.
