Two injured in three-vehicle smash on busy street

Two passengers have been rushed to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on a busy Coast street.

UPDATE 1PM: 

Two passengers have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Buderim. 

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the two patients were taken in stable conditions to Nambour Hospital and Sunshine Coast University Hospital. 

EARLIER:

Emergency services have rushed to a busy Coast street after a multi-vehicle crash.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to King St in Buderim after 12pm on Thursday.

She said one patient was being treated for abdominal pain and another had suffered a shoulder injury.

A third passenger appeared uninjured.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said one crew was on scene but left shortly after.
