Tributes flow for Taj Henderson after Teewah Beach death
The brother of a young Sunshine Coast man whose body was pulled from the surf at Teewah Beach has shared a heartfelt tribute to his younger sibling.

Tributes are flowing for 21-year-old Sunshine Coast man Taj Henderson, who was found dead after disappearing from his campsite at Teewah Beach on May 27.
Mr Henderson’s body was pulled from the surf at Teewah Beach by strangers passing by in a four-wheel-drive on May 28 after he disappeared from his campsite the night before.
Police have said Mr Henderson’s death was being treated as the result of a misadventure. There are no suspicious circumstances.
Mr Henderson’s older brother, Dylan, paid tribute to his fallen sibling via social media on June 1.
In a carousel of six pictures on Instagram, he wrote: “Will keep ya (sic) with me forever and always … Rest easy little bro love you”.
The post sparked an outpouring of love and support in the comments.
“Love ya Dyl, rest easy Taj (sic),” user Sam Penny said.
“Sending all my love to your family,” another user said.
Georgia Helen posted her own tribute to social media, sharing a news report of Mr Henderson’s death with the caption “rest easy bud”.
The Sunshine Coast Daily has attempted to contact Mr Henderson’s family and friends for further comment.
Tin Can Bay police said counselling was being offered to anyone affected by the tragedy, including those first on scene, and encouraged anyone in need of help to contact police.
