Three people were trapped in an elevator at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve in Maleny today.
Queensland Fire Emergency Services arrived at the scene at 11.30am and managed to wedge open the door within half an hour.
However, a QFES media spokesperson said the people weren't set free until 12.15pm.
It is believed to be the same lift in the Rainforest Discovery Centre where three people also were stuck for almost an hour on May 6 this year.
