A frightening video has gone viral of a parent’s worst nightmare after a monster red belly black snake was found in their young children’s toy basket.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 posted the video of a red belly black snake being removed from children’s toy box.
“HUGE Red belly in Kids Toy Basket,” they posted with the video.
“Highly venomous snake within the kids toys, not a situation you want to be in – that’s for sure.
“This is one of the wildest jobs we have done!”
Sunshine Coast locals took to the comments to share their horror and humour.
“Gotta love an Aussie mum …. red belly in the kids toy basket …. ahhhh he’s beautiful … so good,” Katrina Brase said.
“I’d want my whole house inspected – could you imagine trying to sleep tonight,” Cathy Hancox said.

The find comes off the back of a wild season for snake catchers on the Sunshine Coast.
