Police have revealed a 64-year-old Paradise Point man was the sole rider who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash in Kenilworth.

Emergency services rushed to save the man along Sunday Creek Road near Funnels Hut Road about 10.50am Saturday after a call was made to triple-0.

Unfortunately the rider was declared dead at the scene.

A Queensland Police spokesman said the 64-year-old had left the road near a bend and hit a table drain before he was thrown from his motorcycle.

It’s believed the vehicle is three-wheeled and has a sidecar.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
