Emergency services are rushing to the scene of a car rollover on a Sunshine Coast hinterland road during the wet weather after reports of a man being trapped in the car.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said three crews were rushing to the scene of a single-vehicle-crash at Eumundi Kenilworth Rd at Belli Park.
He said the crash was at 7.26am and was a car rollover with one man reportedly trapped inside.
QFD crews removed the windscreen of the crashed car and worked to get the man out.
A power pole was also hit.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man in his late teens suffered a head injury and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
There was another woman on scene too.
Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after crash
A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital overnight after a crash during the wet weather – while emergency services responded to more crashes on the Sunshine Coast.
Paramedics rushed a man to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after he was involved in a single-motorcycle crash on Mons Road and Sunset Ave, at Buderim, at 10.35pm, Monday night.
He was in a stable condition.
Earlier at Mountain Creek another man was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Lady Elliot Street at 10.12pm.
He was in a stable condition.
Six people stranded in failed Sunshine Coast creek crossing
A swift water rescue team is on scene after a car carrying six people became stuck in a Sunshine Coast creek crossing on Monday afternoon.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said the car was trying to complete a creek crossing on Booloumba Creek Rd in the Cambroon National Park about 3.30pm on Monday, when the water started to rise.
The car was believed to have been carrying six people at the time, however they all managed to safely reach the bank.
The QFD spokeswoman said four crews were on scene but were unable to cross the creek, requiring the help of the swift water rescue team.
A Queensland ambulance spokesman said there were no injuries reported, and the six people appeared to safe on the bank of the creek.
Three people rushed to hospital from separate crashes
Three young people have been rushed to hospital overnight after being involved in two separate crashes on the Sunshine Coast.
On Sunday evening, paramedics rushed a man and woman, both in their 20s, to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a crash at Bokarina.
They were in stable conditions.
The car crashed into a tree on Nicklin Way at 6.35pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said a teenage male was also rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a single-vehicle rollover at Ballinger Rd, Buderim, at 11.11pm, Sunday night.
He was in a stable condition with no reported injuries.
