Emergency crews were called to a hinterland town shortly after midnight after a man suffered multiple burns across his body.
Paramedics rushed to Palmwoods at 12.24am on Sunday to treat a male in his 40s with burns to his legs, arm and back.

He suffered the injuries after accelerant was reportedly thrown onto a fire at the private residence.
He was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Queensland Ambulance Service crews also treated a teen who was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition with burns to his face, arm and leg after he reportedly fell into a campfire at 11.55pm at Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island.
