Absolutely I'm in support of it. Traffic is appalling between here and Brisbane. Everything is in place for it so it has to be an advantage for everyone. Like everything it will cost money but I would imagine it would be a good thing. Ray Bailey, Hawthorne, Brisbane

Rail to Maroochydore is a must for everyone who goes to Brisbane. What I would like as well is duplication to Nambour and Gympie. We need to be thinking about what it will be like in 20 years.Mark Burvis

Yes I am in support of a train from Maroochydore to Brisbane because when I lived in Brisbane trains were far easier to catch than buses. Di Julian, Tewantin

I think there needs to be more consideration for the coastline, but heavy rail from Maroochydore to Brisbane would be beneficial. I'd also like to see better links to Nambour and Woombye as we see more housing in those areas. Paul Jones, Mountain Creek
