REACHING his first final at Roland Garros, has been in as many major deciders as Boris Becker (6-4) and John Newcombe (7-3), but has lost eight of the 10. Two losses have come this year to Djokovic. He did turn the tables in Rome, however, and is coming off a record fifth Queen’s title.

AFTER a stint in the Austrian military last year, has claimed four titles in 2016 on three surfaces – Argentina Open (clay), Mexican Open (hardcourt), Italian Open (clay) and Mercedes Cup (grass). Lost Miami Masters final to Djokovic, holding 15 break points, but converting one.

WON his first ATP title in Marseille, beating Tomas Berdych and Marin Cilic along the way, and then cracked the top-20 after reaching the semi-finals in Miami when beating Raonic in the quarters. Has only got as far as the third round in the two majors this year.

GOT his year off to winning start, claiming the Brisbane International and reaching the semi-finals at the Australian Open before suffering an adductor injury. On return, lost to Djokovic in the final at Indian Wells and to Murray in the final at Queen’s.
