NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said the ARL Commission wanted to reward regional Queensland for the role they played in keeping the season going and matches have been scheduled for the Sunshine Coast, Townsville and Rockhampton.

A Sunshine Coast Stadium spokesperson urged people to only buy tickets via Ticketek.

“Ticketek is the ONLY authorised ticket seller for this Friday’s NRL Finals game,” they said.

“Do not buy tickets from any other website.

“Sites such as Ticket Merchant and Via Go Go are not authorised to sell any tickets to our events and these tickets will not gain you access.”

Tickets went on sale at 1pm Monday.
