AUSTRALIAN RULES: If you've ever been to the Maroochy Roos Australian Football Club rooms then you've seen Graeme Meredith.

The only evidence that Graeme actually goes home is in between guernsey washing cycles when he ventures a couple of kilometres down the road for dinner.

Any job, he'll do it according to club president Matt Bury.

"I'm the president and I spend a lot of time there (in the clubrooms), but he spends just as much time if not more," Bury said.

"Quite often after a game on Saturday we'll go in for a beer and he'll come in at about 10pm when he's finished doing all the washing.

"It's just the little things I didn't know that he does.

"The delivery drivers don't ring me, they'll ring Graeme to accept the delivery and he'll stack it (for the bar).

"If he wasn't doing it, I'd need three volunteers to fill his shoes and that's no exaggeration."

Graeme is in his 11th year with the club and is one of the region's top volunteers.
