A Sunshine Coast rugby league player who died suddenly during a game will be farewelled at his beloved clubhouse.
The Maroochydore Senior Rugby League Club has taken to social media to announce everyone was welcome to farewell Dale Best.
The 34-year-old Maroochydore Swan was playing in a trial game against the Kawana Dolphins at the Kawana sports precinct when he collapsed and died on February 20.

"Everyone is welcome to celebrate the life of, and pay tribute to our great friend Dale Best," the club said on social media.
The memorial service will be held at Maroochydore Junior Rugby League Club at 10am on March 14.
The club has also launched a fundraising campaign to help Mr Best's family to pay for his memorial and any unexpected costs over the next few months.
"We are asking the rugby league and rugby union communities to dig deep so we can help reduce the burden on Dale's family in this extremely difficult time," the post said.
The GoFundMe initiative has received an outpouring of support raising $11,778 from 123 donors since its launch on February 25.
