A woman who has mastered the craft of one of the most relaxing and beneficial beauty treatments has spilt the secret that goes into the perfect facial.

Sheryl Bingham from Hello Glow Skincare has been voted as the best facialist on the Sunshine Coast.

A woman who has mastered the craft of one of the most relaxing and beneficial beauty treatments has spilt the secret that goes into the perfect facial.

Sheryl Bingham, the friendly face behind Hello Glow Skincare in Cooroibah, has been in the industry for 24 years.

“I was in Noosa for 16 years doing a mobile service, but when Covid happened there wasn’t any tourists to go to,” Mrs Bingham said.

“So that’s when I opened the studio.”

Mrs Bingham has just been voted as the best facialist in the region by Sunshine Coast Daily readers.

She said her passion and drive for the job is just as strong as it was two decades ago.

“I love doing what I do and making it special,” she said.

Mrs Bingham loves her job.

Mrs Bingham said facials can benefit everyone.

“Whether someone is coming for the first time or have been seeing me for 20 years, I take time to make sure every massage has passion and love behind it so they can escape for an hour.

“Massage is the one element of a facial you can’t do at home and it’s the most important. To be able to come along and have someone target the tension in your neck, shoulders, face and scalp takes it to the next level.”

With the industry reliant on female clientele, Mrs Bingham said men would benefit greatly from the treatment.

“If they knew how good and relaxing it was more of them would get it done.

“People carry so much tension in the areas we massage, so it’s definitely beneficial to get one done.

“I make sure my boys get them.”

The business owner said it was “great to be recognised for something I take so much pride in”.

“Thanks to all of my beautiful clients for their support. For them to get me recognised in this way is very appreciated and I’m humbled by it.”
